Here comes another confession. I am not a great baker. Especially when it comes to desserts. My Giant and I have an un-written agreement that I will cook and he will bake. He is a really good baker, and Snickerdoodle cookies are his favorite to make. He got the Snickerdoodle cookie recipe from my mom so that he could wow all his co-workers with his mad baking skills (yes, they were impressed). When we take treats to neighbors, it is usually him that makes the treat, and they are more often than not Snickerdoodles.
Well, guess what? I made these babies! That's right. Me. I even adapted them to add a twist on the traditional Snickerdoodle. Since Valentine's day is on its way, I wanted to feature some cookie that wasn't a sugar cookie. Behold, Pink Cherry Snickerdoodles! The cherry flavor adds a unique and fun twist to the standard yet already amazing Snickerdoodle. Plus they are pink which naturally says Valentine's Day, right? Try this recipe out if you dare to stray from the normal Snickerdoodle.

These look SO good! I'm picking up some cherry extract tomorrow. :) Thanks for sharing!
